Welcome to Pin-Ups Revisited!
This page is -still- heavily under construction.
The main purpose of this site is to make available a large selection of pin-up paintings mainly from the 40's, 50's and 60's to
studies in art, feministic theory, period studies etc.
So far 32 classic artists are represented here by a total of 131 paintings. There will, hopefully, eventually, also be some modern pin-ups for comparative studies.
If you have anything you would like to contribute to this site you are more than welcome. It can be anything from enlightening me
on when a painting whas made or it's name or what technique was used to contributing scans, essays or articles of your own. You will
of course be given full credit on the site and, when being your own work, the copyright of course remains with you.
In the mean time you'll have to take this site for what it is, a teenager growing into adulthood - slowly ;-).
